With a touch of freshness in design, electric car still carries all the attractive features of the concept, and moreover, it brings out additional extravaganza.
At the length (2,9 meters or 110 inches) and more than comfortable interior (width 1,7 meters or 67 inches and height 1,6 meters or 63 inches) it starts a new family of premium urban electric vehicles.
Being an EV with an original performance of a compact sports vehicle (zero to 100 km/h in 7,7 seconds), it drives up above the limits set by the class itself.
DOK-ING has announced the innovative approach to seating scheme, the vehicle seats three adults incorporating Y design and providing the feeling of spacious comfort, immense visibility and comprehensive safety. Built on a firm Aluminum chassis with independent suspension, car can be powered by two or four 45 kW electric engines. It means each driving wheel has its own engine, controlled by electronic system developed by DOK-ING.
The 32 kWh batteries give range of up to 250 kilometers. It uses Lithium-Iron-Phosphate (LiFePO 4) batteries that are controlled by an innovative Battery Management System – again, developed by DOK-ING. Charge time for the battery depends on the source, but it can take from 3 to 8 hours.
Safety features include driver and passenger airbags, integrated safety system for electronic stability, and ABS brakes. Other features include power steering and the ability to choose between sport, comfort or economy drive modes to increase efficiency.
Two doors opened by gullwing system give the car not just an elegant shape but also excellent aerodynamic properties with low Cw factor of 0,35.
In designing the new car, DOK-ING, a specialty vehicle manufacturer based in Zagreb, used it vast experience as a global leader in production of remotely controlled, diesel, hybrid, and electric powered vehicles of different purpose. The outstanding history of innovation was a foundation of present production of demining, firefighting and underground mining vehicles, being at the same time very concrete and trustworthy basis for the technological and technical solutions and safety features for the electric car.
Future production of the new electric car will be based on highly personalized orders, or, on small serial production in cooperation with a strategic partner.
