Doking :: Additional Mine Clearance Systems for Sri Lanka

With a donation from the Government of the Russian Federation and the signed supply contract with the ICDO (International Civil Defence Organization), DOK-ING shipped 4 MV-4 demining machines with the respective spares and associated equipment to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. This contribution will assist Sri Lanka to facilitate faster and safer demining of its territories after 30-year long civil war. After official hand-over of the goods in Colombo, the DOK-ING team will also conduct a training course with the Sri Lanka Army Engineers in Vavuniya Area later this month.
