Second shipment of five MV-4 to Sri Lanka

On November 3rd, 2009 five additional MV-4 Mine Clearance Mini-Flails have been dispatched from DOK-ING facilities in Zagreb to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. All machines with their respective associated spares and other equipment have been air shipped from Frankfurt Cargo Terminal on November 6th 2009 successfully arriving to the International Airport in Colombo the next day. These 5 x MV-4 have been bought by the UNHCR to be donated to the Government of Sri Lanka to enhance the local demining capacity and facilitate the return of the IDPs. The total number of the MV-4 machines in the country has raised up to 16 units.
