Zagreb, Croatia, July 2nd, 2010 - US Ambassador James Foley visited DOK-ING to mark the delivery of 53 MV-4B Mine Clearance Systems to the US Government. The visit included a tour of the production facilities and a live demonstration of the MV-4 Mine Clearance System. Ambassador Foley was accompanied for the visit by Ms. Pamela Ward, Senior Commercial Officer, Lt. Col. Sean Cantrell, Defense Attaché, and Mr. Christopher Zimmer, Political Officer. The successful visit was an excellent opportunity to celebrate the 6-year cooperation between DOK-ING and the United States Government.
The first DOK-ING Mine Clearance System was supplied to the US Department of Defense in 2004. Since then, a $45 M Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract has been signed to supply the US Army with MV-4B Mine Clearance Systems and spare parts.
The Croatian television, print, and internet media attended the event.
