The MV-2 Honey Badger is the Compact EOD Robotic System designed and developed on the basis of our previous products and vast experience of our partners worldwide. It is and answer to continuously developing treats, in both humanitarian and combat environments.
The Honey Badger’s small dimensions, great power and maneuverability makes it perfect for use in harsh terrains with difficult access. Its light weight makes it a logistic friendly system. MV-2 can easily be transported by land, sea and air, using various means of transportation, from a simple pick-up truck to military rotary wings.
As with all DOK-ING systems, the MV-2 Honey Badger give the user various tool attachment options. From land mine clearance tools, EOD and C-IED tools, to commercially available skid steer tools.
Service and maintenance access is give special attention during the MV-2 Honey Badger design. DOK-ING has designed the hull openings and various access points to make it as maintenance friendly as possible.
And why the Honey Badger? The animal, native to Africa, Middle East, Southwest Asia and the Indian subcontinent, does not resemble other badger species, but bears more anatomical similarities to weasels. Being not a threatened species (owing to its extensive range and general environmental adaptations), it is primarily a carnivorous species that has few natural predators because of its thick skin and ferocious defensive abilities.
The Honey Badger is one fearless and ultimate badass of the animal kingdom. It can withstand attacks, stings, and even snake bites yet keeps on killing and eating whatever it finds, steals food from much bigger animals like leopards, and even attacks and eats poisonous snakes.
The word goes around that “Honey Badger don’t care, Honey Badger don’t give a shit – it just takes what it wants!
