KOMODO Modular Platform Impressed High-level Professionals and Visitors at ASDA Exhibiton and Conference

DOK -ING UNVEILS KOMODO – MODULAR UNMANNED PLATFORM, MERGING THE LATEST TECHNOLOGIES AND INNOVATIONS DESIGNED AND PRODUCED WITH HIGHEST STANDARDS FOR MILITARY ENGINEERING

Komodo unmanned platform features modularity and the ability to integrate specific mission modules for the security sector. The Komodo platform is designed for modularity and the ability to integrate specific mission modules for the security sector. By integrating a particular module, Komodo becomes an unmanned system for military and civilian operations in areas such as mobility and counter-mobility, combat support, logistics, CBRN tasks, and crisis response support operations.

Zagreb, Croatia, 8th-10th April, 2025 – Croatian company DOK-ING, globally recognized for its unmanned system, demonstrated its innovations with five unmanned systems at the largest regional exhibition and conference, ASDA (Adriatic Sea Defense & Aerospace), held from April 8 to 10, 2025, at the Zagreb Arena.

DOK-ING premiered it’s unmanned platform Komodo- an innovation that offers wide applicability in the security sector. At the indoor and outdoor expo DOK-ING showcased systems developed for crisis management, military engineering, and counter-terrorism operations.

Komodo is a multi-purpose, modular vehicle that adapts to various military and civilian applications by integrating mission modules, including combat support, military engineering, logistics, CBRN tasks, and other combat and non-combat missions.

Komodo is a multi-purpose modular unmanned vehicle capable of accommodating specific modules and additional tools, representing an innovation in the defence industry in the field of unmanned systems. The first configuration, which will be introduced to the market, will be for chemical-biological-radiological-nuclear tasks. By the end of this year, we will be presenting a technological demonstrator for military engineering and counter-mobility tasks,” explained Gordan Pešić, management board member of DOK-ING.

ASDA gathered numerous state delegations, military representatives, security experts, and defence industry officials, many of whom visited DOK-ING’s indoor and outdoor exhibition stand. Numerous meetings were held with interested partners and potential end-users, with Komodo generating the most significant interest. Through discussions with representatives from Croatian defence industry and various ministries of the Republic of Croatia, cooperation in the development of national defence capabilities has been strengthened.

Mr. Ivan Anušić, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the Republic of Croatia, delivered the opening speech at ASDA and emphasized: „The defence industry has become a top priority today, and over the past two or three years, Europe and the world have started to seriously consider security and preparation, especially when it comes to European countries, in light of the potential threats currently facing European soil,” he continued. “This is an opportunity to engage with our allies and partners, an opportunity to combine our knowledge with theirs, allowing companies working on the development of the defence industry to collaborate, work together, implement new projects, and ultimately, develop their own defence industry.”

Additional interest in the development of defence industry capacities is notably visible following recent announcements from the European Union regarding a significant increase in investments to strengthen European security and defence capacities, as well as the Croatian government’s announcement to increase national defence budget.

There is a noticeable surge in interest for unmanned aerial and ground systems. Through strategic partnership with Rheinmetall, we are working on the development of various capabilities, including solutions for combat support, mobility, and counter-mobility,” said Gordan Pešić.

DOK-ING’s collaboration with Rheinmetall holds exceptional potential for developing new defence capabilities, allowing DOK-ING to respond more effectively to defence requirements, opening up opportunities for further investments in the defence industry and expansion of production and development capacities.

Last week, DOK-ING had one more opportunity to showcase its innovations at the 21st International Symposium “Mine Action 2025” held in Cavtat, gathering over 200 experts from 35 countries. Key stakeholders from Croatia and Ukraine were present at the DOK-ING stand, including representatives from Ukrainian state services, international organizations, and the diplomatic community. The company’s chief technical advisor, Konstantin Darmaniyan, delivered a presentation on the development of DOK-ING’s unmanned systems, which have already cleared over 19 million square meters of mined areas in Ukraine.
With more than 500 systems in over 40 countries, including 69 in Ukraine, DOK-ING continues to lead in creating a safer world through advanced technology.
