DOK-ING's MVF-5 robotic system deployed in wildfire zone in Germany

DOK-ING Deploys MV-4 and MVF-5 Robotic Systems in Germany to Fight Wildfires and UXO Threats

DOK-ING’S ROBOTIC SYSTEMS COMBAT WILDFIRES AND UXO THREATS IN GERMANY WITH ADVANCED UNMANNED TECHNOLOGY

In today’s era of climate change, the challenges humanity faces demand innovative and holistic approaches, advanced solutions, and unwavering readiness. This is where DOK-ING steps in with technologies, with an innovation spirit that redefines the game by co-developing the UXO-fire management toolbox with the European Forest Institute EFI.

We are incredibly proud that our MV-4 and MVF-5 unmanned systems are being deployed in Germany, a country renowned for its rigorous technological standards, where they’re doing exactly what they’re meant to: saving lives and not sending humans where machines should go. This recognition is a testament to the trust placed in our technology and the impact it can make in the fight against one of the most devastating consequences of climate change: wildfires in UXO-contaminated landscapes. The MV-4 multi-mission EOD robotic system is globally recognised for its power, mobility, and highest survivability, having been deployed in 29 countries across the globe. In Germany, it will be used for creating UXO-free fire control lines in forests.

The MVF-5 is not just a fire-fighting robotic system; it’s a lifeline. It can approach fires in ways no traditional fire truck can, with a water and foam range of up to 60 meters, ensuring that even the most dangerous hotspots are extinguished. By clearing obstacles in its path, it eliminates hidden fire pockets that pose a significant risk of reignition. Its advanced video system provides operators with a clear and real-time view of the situation on the ground, enabling precise and safe decision-making. And with its versatile tools for cutting, moving, and relocating, the MVF-5 is a true dual-use system, capable of handling the most complex and hazardous scenarios.

This is more than just technology; it’s a solution that saves lives, prevents disasters, and redefines what’s possible in firefighting. It’s a system that allows us to keep humans out of harm’s way, letting machines take on the work where it’s needed most.

Thank you to our partners in Germany for the opportunity to demonstrate a comprehensive solution to one of the most dangerous and unpredictable threats of our time – wildfires. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to showcase this comprehensive solution to the immense danger posed by wildfires. Germany’s trust in our technology inspires us to continue growing, innovating, and setting new standards in developing life-saving technologies that ensure no human needs to face danger where a machine can do the job.
