06 Mar 2024 DOK-ING’s NRE Fleet Was in the Spotlight at PDAC 2024
Toronto, Canada, 3rd – 6th of March 2024 –DOK-ING presented it’s fully electrically powered & remotely controlled narrow reef equipment at the world’s premier mineral exploration & mining convention, PDAC 2024, gaining traction of thousands of visitors.
The PDAC 2024 convention stands as the paramount gathering for individuals, corporations, and institutions involved in mineral exploration. This year, 30,000 visitors from over 130 nations had a chance to engage with more than 1,100 exhibitors and 700 speakers.
At PDAC, DOK-ING exhibited as part of the EU booth. Among the esteemed visitors who interacted with the representatives of DOK-ING were Croatian Ambassador Vice Skračić and Consul General Ante Jović.
DOK-ING experts introduced them with the fully electrically powered and remotely controlled NRE fleet. This fleet is specially designed for operations in narrow reef mining environments with working heights as low as 900 mm.
„Traditionally, mining in narrow reef ore bodies is a very labour intensive, unsafe and inefficient process. In order to improve narrow reef mining safety and efficiency, DOK-ING developed a fully electrically powered and remotely controlled equipment for underground mining, NRE fleet. Having fully electrically powered & remotely controlled systems provides health and environmental benefits of clean power technologies. Removing personnel from working in hazardous areas also grants significant safety improvement,“ said Luka Petro, Mining Program Manager at DOK-ING.
