DOK-ING's MVFD-5 extinguishing major fire

MVFD-5 Unmanned System Assist in Major Blaze in Sveta Nedelja

DOK-ING’s MODERN TECHNOLOGY STRENGTHENS EMERGENCY RESPONSE IN CROATIA

On November 4, 2025, a major fire broke out in the tyre warehouse of Pneumatik company in Sveta Nedelja, producing a vast cloud of toxic black smoke visible from several kilometres away.
Over 50 firefighters with 20 vehicles from 13 fire brigades across Zagreb County responded to the scene and worked for several hours under extremely demanding conditions to bring the fire under control.

The operation was significantly supported by the Civil Protection Directorate, which deployed two DOK-ING MVFD-5 remotely operated robotic firefighting vehicles. These advanced systems enabled firefighters to tackle the blaze from a safe distance, in areas where temperatures exceeded 500°C and the dense smoke from burning tyres posed severe health risks.

Thanks to the combined efforts of all emergency units and the use of advanced technology, the fire was successfully contained by the evening of the same day, with no reported injuries.

This incident once again demonstrates the importance of modern firefighting technology in improving operational safety and efficiency during high-risk industrial fires.
DOK-ING is proud that its robotic systems played a key role in improving firefighter safety and operational effectiveness during the Sveta Nedelja intervention, reaffirming the company’s commitment to advancing technology that saves lives.
