09 May 2025 Warm Welcome to H.E. Mr. William De Baets the Ambassador of Belgium to DOK-ING
HONORED TO WELCOME H.E. MR. WILLIAM DE BAETS, AMBASSADOR OF THE KINGDOM OF BELGIUM TO CROATIA, TO DOK-ING’S HEADQUARTERS IN ZAGREB
During the visit of H.E. Mr. William De Baets, DOK-ING’s state of the art innovations in the fields of energy, security and defence, and underground mining were presented. Particular attention was given to DOK-ING’s waste to hydrogen gasification plant, which Ambassador De Baets recognised as a sustainable solution with strong potential to support Belgium’s green energy transition.
As a forward looking alternative to conventional waste incineration, this technology contributes to Europe’s broader objectives of decarbonisation and energy resilience. DOK-ING’s unmanned robotic systems also drew significant interest, particularly in the context of enhancing European security, defence capabilities, and overall resilience.
In this regard, DOK-ING welcomed the EU’s ongoing efforts to strengthen strategic autonomy and foster technological innovation and cooperation among Member States, as outlined in the March 2025 EU White Paper on Defence. The visit also included a tour of the DOK-ING’s production facilities, offering the Ambassador insight into the design and manufacturing of autonomous robotic platforms.
DOK-ING expresses its gratitude to Ambassador De Baets from from Embassy of Belgium in Croatia for his visit and the thoughtful dialogue on shared goals in technological progress and sustainable development.
