Abu Dhabi, UAE, 25.01.2024. – DOK-ING, an engineering leader in robotic & autonomous systems, was recognised as a global UGV expert at the largest edition of UMEX and SimTEX 2024. This sixth event which is the only event for robotics, drones and unmanned systems in the Middle East was held in Abu Dhabi at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from 22-25 January 2024. DOK-ING, an innovative company with a diversified portfolio of robotic systems which provide solutions for today’s world’s threats like terrorism, mine clearance/threats, and CBRNe threats, had huge interest from the stakeholders, key decision makers and industry leaders. Drones and unmanned systems have become increasingly common for military and commercial use in many parts of the world over the past decade. According to Statista, a global data and business intelligence platform, the UGV market size was valued at $2.25 billion in 2022 and is expected to reach $4.8 billion by 2030. These systems have sensors, cameras, detectors, and other specialised equipment to perform various tasks. These systems are used for hazardous, dull or dirty tasks but also can be used for various environments, including urban areas that are dangerous or inaccessible to humans and perform tasks such as mine clearance, inspecting hazardous chemical spills, removing suspicious objects and obstacles, reconnaissance, surveillance tasks, breaching, rescue survivors/hostages etc.
