DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER AND MINISTER OF DEFENCE OF THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA, IVAN ANUŠIĆ, ACCOMPANIED BY THE REPRESENTATIVES OF THE MINISTRY OF DEFENCE AND THE ARMED FORCES OF THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA, VISITED DOK-ING, WHERE THEY WERE PRESENTED WITH THE LATEST VERSION OF THE KOMODO UNMANNED SYSTEM

Zagreb, Croatia, March 20th, 2025 – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the Republic of Croatia, Ivan Anušić, accompanied by the representatives of the Ministry of defence and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia, visited DOK-ING. The visit was focused on the presentation of the new version of the KOMODO unmanned system.

During the system demonstration and the follow-on meeting, we have discussed several already defined variants of the platform as well as the potential future variants based on the specific critical capabilities requirements identified by the Ministry of defence. Representatives of our strategic partner Rheinmetall also attended the meeting and presented additional capabilities in support of modernization and force readiness efforts.

Minister Anušić emphasized the importance of the Croatian defence industry in support of the modernization of the security and defence of Croatia, stressing the need for prompt actions to leverage new funding opportunities at the EU level. In this context, the recently published “White Paper for European Defence” was also addressed during the meeting, in which the European Commission defines future priorities in security and defence segment.

Strengthening cooperation between Croatian institutions and defence industry was a key topic of the meeting held the previous day at the Ministry of defence, where Mr. Gordan Pešić, a Management Board member of DOK-ING, participated as a representative of the HUP Coordination of the defence Industry. Opportunities for coordination within the new European initiatives, such as ReArm Europe, were discussed.

DOK-ING continues to strengthen its cooperation with the Ministry of defence and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia, in order to further develop critical capabilities through utilization of  unmanned systems and strengthen the industrial capacity and competitiveness of the Croatian defence industry.
