ADVANCING HUMANITARIAN DEMINING IN UKRAINE THROUGH STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP
On April 20th, DOK-ING and the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation in humanitarian demining efforts across Ukraine.
The agreement was signed in Geneva during the Ukraine Mine Action Partner Coordination Workshop, a key international event focused on aligning global partners in addressing landmine contamination and post-conflict recovery.
This strategic partnership marks a major step forward not only in accelerating demining operations but in redefining how Ukraine addresses some of its most complex, high-risk, and environmentally sensitive areas.
A Strategic Approach to Humanitarian Demining in Ukraine
The Memorandum reflects a shift from fragmented, project-based efforts toward a more integrated, scalable, and sustainable model of land release. By combining advanced technology, operational expertise, and local capacity-building, this collaboration aims to deliver long-term impact.
At its core, the partnership focuses on several key priorities:
- Advanced Solutions for UXO-Contaminated forests and wildfire risk management
- Scaling Mechanical Humanitarian Demining across Ukraine
- Strengthening Ukrainian operators through technology, training, and local support
- Expanding access to equipment via rental and leasing models
- Developing next-generation robotic solutions for complex terrain
- Building long-term capabilities through knowledge transfer and localization
- Deepening international coordination in mine action
A Long-Term Commitment to Ukraine
This Memorandum underscores DOK-ING’s commitment to Ukraine not only as a technology provider, but as a long-term strategic partner on the ground. By combining innovation, operational excellence, and strong international collaboration, this partnership aims to accelerate land release, improve safety, and support Ukraine’s recovery and resilience for years to come.
