Ukraine Demining: DOK-ING Reaches 30% of Local Production Milestone

DOK-ING ADVANCES HUMANITARIAN DEMINING IN UKRAINE WITH GLOBAL TECH AND LOCAL POWER

Kyiv, September 2025 – Within one year of operations in Ukraine, DOK-ING, a global leader in robotic demining systems, achieved 30% localisation of production. By the end of 2026, the plan is to reach the localisation level of 50%. This will significantly strengthen Ukraine’s capacity for effective operation and maintenance of humanitarian demining machines. Since 2024, through the localisation of our technology with Ukrainian company A3Tech, national operators of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU) and the State Special Transport Service (SSTS) have saved 33.5% of their budgets on public spare part procurement, equivalent to more than UAH 7.2 million.

Over the past year, we have invested in our Ukrainian representation by creating 72 jobs, setting up assembly and service lines, and training more than 300 DOK-ING machine operators. Together with A3Tech, we have launched production of spare parts, machine repair, and assembly. Today, this constitutes a full cycle of repair and maintenance.

In 2023, the President of Ukraine outlined a strategic goal – to create a national humanitarian demining machine. We supported this vision and transferred to Ukraine, free of charge, technology that has proven its effectiveness for more than three decades in the world’s hottest conflict zones. This was a gesture from brotherly Croatia, which itself faced aggression in the 1990s and will become completely mine-free next year. Such a step means saved lives and faster restoration of Ukrainian land to safety and development,” stated Severyn Lubkivskyi, Business Development Director of DOK-ING Ukraine.

Our company has been supplying its MV-4 and MV-10 robotic systems to Ukraine since 2022. In autumn 2024, we officially opened our Ukrainian office in Kyiv and began cooperation with local operators and government agencies. In 2024 alone, eight machines were assembled in Ukraine by our partner A3Tech, and 3,630 spare parts were supplied by them, raising the localisation rate above 30%. By the end of 2026, we proudly aim to increase this figure to 50% by shifting production of reinforced machine hulls and other components to Ukraine.

Today, 69 DOK-ING machines operate across 10 regions of Ukraine. They have cleared more than 25 million square meters of land and neutralised over 10,000 explosive hazards in Donetsk, Chernihiv, Kherson, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, and Odesa regions. These machines support the national strategy to return 80% of mined land to productive use within the next decade. Mechanical systems are effective only with trained personnel. In case of damage, repairs are conducted in Ukraine, speeding up recovery and lowering costs (even severely damaged machines are restored within several weeks).

For Ukraine, demining is about laying the foundation for the future: restoring farms, bringing people back home, reviving the economy. We aim to be a long-term partner of the state in this process and are constantly adapting our technologies to Ukrainian realities,” noted Severyn Lubkivskyi, Business Development Director of DOK-ING Ukraine.
