23 May 2025 The Royal College of Defence Studies Pays a Visit to DOK-ING
Delegation from the Royal College of Defence Studies (RCDS) was accompanied by representatives of the British Embassy in Zagreb
It’s not every day that your guests include senior military and civilian leaders from thirteen countries across the globe, all of whom are either already shaping or preparing to shape future defence policy in their home nations. But that’s exactly who we had the privilege of hosting at DOK-ING.
The delegation from the Royal College of Defence Studies (RCDS) was accompanied by representatives of the British Embassy in Zagreb, including the UK Defence Attaché, Lieutenant Colonel Andrew Higgs.
Participants from the United Kingdom, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Chile, Japan, Pakistan, Israel, Morocco, Guyana, and Nepal joined us for a focused conversation on unmanned systems, the ethics of autonomy, production scalability, and the evolving role of the private sector in strengthening national and collective defence capabilities.
Although we presented the full scope of our portfolio, the spotlight of this visit was on our Security and Defence programme. The discussion was open and engaged, covering both the challenges and the opportunities we face as a private company operating in a fast-changing strategic environment. Special attention was given to long-term collaboration between governments and industry, particularly in innovation, resilience, and rapid adaptability.
We appreciated the serious interest and sharp questions, but even more so the frank and constructive exchange of ideas. Above all, we value the opportunity to contribute modestly to the safety and security and to a future where human lives are better protected.
