MAJETIĆ STOOD OUT AMONG 28 NOMINEES IN NINE COMPETITIVE CATEGORIES
Zagreb Croatia, 17.10.2024. – Vjekoslav Majetić, renowned innovator, owner and founder of DOK-ING, took part in the prestigious 2024 Croatian Great Safety Award ceremony, held last night in Opatija. Among a competitive field of 28 nominees, both individuals and organizations across nine categories, Mr Majetić stood out, earning the award for his outstanding Individual contribution to enhancing and developing community security in Croatia. His dedication and achievements in the field were rightfully recognized, marking a proud moment in the celebration of Croatia’s efforts to promote safety and security.
The ceremony was organized by the Croatian Association of Security Managers as part of Croatian Security Days 2024, a three-day conference currently taking place in Opatija.

The Croatian Great Safety Award honors individuals, businesses, institutions, local communities, and companies that have made a significant contribution to enhancing and developing the security of the Republic of Croatia throughout the year. Established in 2011, the award’s 2024 jury included prominent figures: Prof. Ph.D. Vlatko Cvrtila, rector of Zagreb University VERN, Assistant Professor Ph.D. Krunoslav Borovec, N1 Hrvatska journalist Ana Raić, and Alen Ostojić, president of the Croatian Association of Security Managers. The nomination process for the 2023 Croatian Great Safety Award ran from September 29, 2023, to October 1, 2024.
