DOK-ING in Support of Reconstruction of Ukraine at Ukraine Recovery Conference 2025

AS A PROUD EXAMPLE OF CROATIAN PRODUCTION AND AID IN DEMINING OF UKRAINE, DOK-ING IS HONORED TO HAVE BEEN INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE IMPORTANT UKRAINE RECOVERY CONFERENCE 2025, HELD ON JULY 10–11, 2025, IN ROME, ITALY.

Rome, Italy, 11.7.2025  – DOK-ING supported the efforts of the EU and Ukraine toward the recovery and long-term reconstruction of war-torn Ukraine by participating in the fourth Ukraine Recovery Conference, held on July 10–11, 2025, in Rome, Italy. This fourth edition of URC2025 reflected the Lugano Principles, including a “whole-of-society” approach to recovery through the meaningful participation of a broad range of stakeholders—from governments, international organizations, financial institutions, businesses, regions, municipalities, and civil society—united by a shared commitment to strengthening Ukraine’s resilience for as long as needed.

“Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale war of aggression against Ukraine, DOK-ING has been actively working toward a sustainable and prosperous future for Ukraine. We are proud to have helped clear over 20 million square meters of contaminated land and neutralize more than 9,000 landmines and other explosive remnants of war with the help of our robotic systems for mechanical demining—all without a single casualty. Hundreds of Ukrainian machine operators, mechanics and team leaders have been trained by DOK-ING instructors. We remain committed to our ambitious goal of expanding our activities in Ukraine beyond humanitarian demining, including protection of critical infrastructure,  addressing the issue of wildfires, especially in UXO-contaminated forests, getting involved in extracting of critical minerals and collaboration with the Ukrainian industry,” emphasized Mr. Konstantin Darmanyian, DOK-ING’s Chief Technical Advisor for Sales, Training & International Business Development.

At this paramount platform, a total of 15 heads of state and government supported this important cause, including the President of the European Commission, Ms. Ursula von der Leyen; President of Ukraine, Mr. Volodymyr Zelensky; First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Ms. Yuliia Svyrydenko; Prime Minister of Italy, Ms. Giorgia Meloni; Chancellor of Germany, Mr. Friedrich Merz; and many others endorsing private business joint ventures, production localization, and technology.

Croatia joined in support, with the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia Mr, Grlić Radman, participating in the panel „Ukraine’s path to the EU: Achievements, Challenges, and the Road Ahead“, where he reaffirmed Croatia’s enduring support for Ukraine’s reconstruction and its European journey. The minister emphasized that Croatia has already provided €315 million in aid to Ukraine, including humanitarian, development, and demining assistance.

As a proud example of Croatian production and aid in demining of Ukraine, DOK-ING is honored to have been invited to participate in this important conference. During these two days, we connected with local and regional actors on ongoing crosscutting issues and shared our long-lasting experience in mechanical demining, innovations in resilience and security, and green recovery, as well as common points for business and government to ensure the reconstruction of infrastructure and communities.

We also witnessed nearly 200 signed agreements and memorandums, including a Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) signed on July 10 by Ukraine’s State Special Transport Service (SSTS) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, North Atlantic Division (USACE NAD), establishing a framework for long-term collaboration in infrastructure development.
