JOINT DELEGATION OF IRAQI AND CROATIAN ARMED FORCES VISITED DOK-ING
Zagreb, Croatia, 28th of November 2023. – The Iraqi Armed Forces delegation led by Deputy Chief of the General Staff for Administration, Lieutenant General Saad Mezher Mohsin Al-Allak, visited DOK-ING as one of the select few Croatian companies during their stay in Croatia. During their stay in Croatia, the Iraqi delegation was hosted by the Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia and the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces Lieutenant General Siniša Jurković. Representatives from the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Croatia were also in attendance during the visit.

DOK-ING’s Head of Sales and Marketing, Mr. Mislav Manda, presented DOK-ING’s company history, portfolio, current operators, projects in development and future prospects. The aim was to identify the Republic of Iraq’s security sector’s requirements and provide potential capability solutions with DOK-ING’s military engineering, emergency response, and especially counter-terrorism systems, for which the Iraqi delegation showed special interest.
Mr. Gordan Pešić, a DOK-ING Member of the Board, speaking on behalf of both DOK-ING and the Croatian Defence Industry Competitiveness Cluster (CDICC), welcomed all of the guests and expressed his gratitude to General Jurković for the continued cooperation with the Croatian Armed Forces:
“It was our pleasure to showcase DOK-ING’s systems and critical capabilities and provide insight into our comprehensive support packages for end users. We reached a mutual conclusion that there exists a great potential for further cooperation between the Republic of Iraq, DOK-ING and numerous Croatian companies which can provide necessary capabilities to the potential end-users across the security and defence spectrum.”
The Iraqi delegation displayed particular interest in possible future cooperation with DOK-ING and other Croatian companies to meet the needs of the Iraqi security forces. The head of the Iraqi delegation, general Al-Allak, stated that he was impressed with the combination of innovative technologies and decades-long experience visible at DOK-ING. Coming from a nation with a similar unfortunate past, general Al-Allak placed a high value on DOK-ING’s main goal of preserving human life and providing direct support to the civilian population.
