WILDFIRE MANAGEMENT

DOK-ING Demonstrated Unmanned Systems for Wildfire Management at INTERSCHUTZ 2026

MV-4 AND MVF-5 UNMANNED SYSTEMS DEMONSTRATED AT INTERSCHUTZ 2026 AS A RESPONSE TO TACKLE WILDFIRE MANAGEMENT IN UXO-CONTAMINATED FORESTS

Interschutz 2026 is behind us, and what an extraordinary six days they were. Amid thousands of emergency response professionals, our team had the privilege of presenting DOK-ING MV-4 & MVF-5 unmanned systems, generously provided by the State School and Technical Facility for Fire and Disaster Protection of the State of Brandenburg. demonstrating their capabilities and briefing multiple official delegations of foresters and firefighters on the specific advantages of the said robotic systems in the UXO-contaminated forest environment.
Wildfire risk management is challenging enough, and combined with EO (explosive ordnance) contamination, it becomes one of the most hazardous environments first responders should face. Our highly maneuverable  & powerful MV-4 enters into the said environment first, cutting vegetation-free fire control lines down to the required clearance depth, ensuring no „fuel“ is left for a fire. The MVF-5 fire-fighter follows, holding the line, protecting infrastructure in the vicinity of fire, powered by a front heavy-duty engineering tool and built-in water supply.
All of it is unmanned. All of it operated remotely from a safe distance. This is to further develop and implement approaches for wildfire risk management in contaminated by EO and mine-affected forest landscapes, improving personnel safety, strengthening wildfire prevention systems, conducting risk assessments, and creating more fire-resilient landscapes.
Firefighters, foresters, and other first responders are among the most courageous people on the planet. They operate in extremely hard and dangerous conditions, and they do it to protect lives, communities, and the environment. Our Unmanned systems don’t replace courage. They protect it.
To every firefighter, forester, and first responder out there, thank you for your devoted work and sacrifice.
See you again in May 2030.

ABOUT DOK-ING
DOK-ING is a Croatian robotics and engineering company with long-term experience in developing unmanned systems operating in high-risk, hazardous, and complex environments. Their official slogan, “Don’t send a man to do a machine’s job,” defines the core principle behind their work. Their unmanned solutions support emergency response units, underground mining operations, military, and anti-terrorism forces by bringing robotic systems to environments where precision matters and risk to human life is high.
